I took this poem from Mr Aiman Azlan
“This lump of flesh that I have in my chest
It beats for the One to whom it belongs to
But being an ungrateful borrower that I am
I give it away to one who deserves it not
For shame! A total disregard of the Owner!
Such a beautiful Owner, Who is still there
Even though I gave it away, more than once
He is there, willing to recover a broken item
Now, I hold on to it close. Lock it so tightly
Trying so hard not to give you the golden key
Realize this, I am merely a poor key keeper
Entrusted by the Keymaker to keep it safe
Until one day. That day. How I long for that day!
That blessed day when the keys switch hands
Please, keep mine safe! I will keep yours safer
Unlock the hearts, for His permission was earned
---------“
~ From the very first sentence until the end of it
I am impressed with his ability to write such a beautiful and romantic poem..
Sometimes, I feel this poem told a story of mine..
Yeap.. I did gave my heart to the wrong guy, n I let him broke mine,
For which it does not belongs to me..
The heart is belongs to Allah..
The Keymaker of my heart and I gave away the key to the wrong guy..
I should not do that.
I have no right to give it away.
Unless permitted by Him
But Allah never abandon me..
He fixed the broken part of my heart
And now, Im trying so hard to keep the key in safe,
So that I wont give it to the wrong guy again,
And I will only give the key of my heart to the one
That has been decided by Allah to have it,
And when the time comes,
I’ll exchange the keys of heart with the right guy,
And together unlock our hearts.. insyaAllah =]
i like it =)
